Life is precious.
Feel good now.
Let others do whatever they’re doing.
Let the world be the way it is.
Feel good now.
And if you keep doing what feels good now, you’ll start to notice something magical: people and places around you get blessed simply because you passed that way.
Here’s a moment from my book, The Stranger:
“One day in the course of his travels, the stranger saved a drowning man from the River Rioja.
While the man dried off by the fire, the stranger waded into the frigid shallows. With a small net, he fished out a bedraggled bumblebee and a red-bellied lizard.
The lizard was cold and stiff, so he placed it on a rock warmed by the flames. After a few minutes, it had thawed enough to scuttle away.”
— The Lizard, The Stranger
The moral?
Life is precious, regardless of the form it takes.
And just because the stranger passed that way, a man, a lizard, and a bumblebee lived.
Your life is precious.
So many people don’t see it. They’re like drowning lizards, unaware they could be saved in an instant.
But when you feel good now — and keep doing what feels good — your example frees others.
You will rescue more drowning lizards than you’ll ever know.
Keep going.
Keep feeling good.
And keep reading these letters and stories that light the way.
Much love,
Jack
