Want to make a better decision?
Don’t overthink it.
Feel good now.
Your conscious, logical mind is not the most powerful processor you have. Not even close.
That title belongs to your superconscious (what many call the “subconscious”).
It’s the part of you that:
- Beats your heart without you asking
- Breathes for you while you sleep
- Balances your hormones
- Digests your food
- Processes millions of bits of information every second
- Tunes in to the energy and possibilities beyond your five senses
Meanwhile, your conscious mind is still busy with: “Toast or cereal for breakfast?”
There are two main parts to decision-making:
- Choosing the path from infinite possibilities
- Acting on that choice
Your conscious mind is brilliant at step 2. It focuses, executes, tunes out distractions, and gets you into flow.
Your superconscious mind is a master of step 1. It quietly synthesizes data from your entire life, projects it into the future, and aligns it with your deepest desires.
The trick: let each part do its job.
And the way you do that is simple: feel good now.
When you feel good now:
- The conscious mind relaxes and stops interfering.
- The superconscious feels safe to filter out fear and bring in exciting, inspired options.
- You choose from alignment instead of anxiety.
Example:
Conscious mind: “Toast or cereal today?”
Superconscious (running a billion background calculations): “Toast.”
Conscious mind: “Why?”
Superconscious: “Because it feels good.”
Conscious mind: “Okay.”
So really, there are four steps to a great decision:
- Feel good now
- Decide
- Act
- Feel good now again
This way, you’re using all of your mind in the best way possible — and you’re enjoying the journey.
Feel good now.
Make aligned decisions.
Live a life that keeps getting better.
And watch the blessings ripple out to everyone you meet.
Enjoy your toast,
Jack
