Don’t wait to feel good later.
Feel good now.
The other day, I was talking with a social media user named Cotton Kitty. They’d commented on a video where I explained how the 3D reality we perceive is just a hologram — a simplified representation of the infinitely complex universe, filtered by our mental habits and subconscious beliefs.
In simpler terms: The universe is huge. You only see a slice of it. That slice is shaped by your thoughts, emotions, and energy.
This is one of my favorite things to teach because once you understand it, you can change the “slice” you see by changing your inner filters. You can bend the hologram to fit your preferences.
Cotton Kitty chimed in:
“money changes the simulation.”
I replied:
“Money changes the surface. But thoughts and emotions reprogram the base code. They’re far more powerful for transforming reality — that’s why I focus on feeling good now.”
They disagreed.
“You’re wrong. Say you went on a holiday and spent 4k. You’d feel much different — suntan, healthier, more confident. All because of money.”
I once believed that too. I grew up receiving the same programming: that a vacation to a wonderful place was going to make me feel different. Happier, healthier and more confident.
I don’t believe that anymore.
If you’re unhappy at home, you’ll carry that same unhappiness with you — even to a beach in Bali. The scenery might distract you for a while, but old thought patterns creep back in. And when you return home, your “normal life” feels worse by comparison.
That’s why so many people live in a loop:
Miserable at home → brief escape → miserable again → plan the next escape.
Why wait for a few days a year to feel good?
Why not get good at feeling good now?
