This is just a reminder to feel good now.
In case no one has told you today…
Feeling good is good for you.
It’s good for your health.
It’s good for your heart.
It’s good for your whole life.
You feel good when you do.
And the people around you can feel it, too.
Feeling good looks different for everyone, but here are some of the things that felt good to me today:
Laying in bed when I woke up, feeling grateful for a healthy body, a positive mind, a happy heart and aligned energy.
Doing five minutes of breathwork.
Making my morning tonic (hot water, lemon, honey, olive oil, cinnamon, salt).
Following it with a warm, rich, slightly bitter cup of coffee.
Writing for hours — about 25 new pages for my latest novel.
Taking a shower in the middle, just because it felt good to do.
Eating a big bowl of sweet, crunchy grapes.
Reading for an hour to unwind.
Spending time with my partner, saying “I love you” and “I’m grateful for you” over and over.
Writing this email to you.
I hope you remember to take care of yourself by doing what feels good now.
It’s good for you.
It’s good for the world.
And it really does feel so, so good.
Now, I’m off to the next feel-good activity. Probably more reading!
Much love,
Jack
