Don’t focus on what feels bad.
Feel good now.
In the past day I read a few comments on my videos that didn’t feel so good:
“Your message is toxic positivity. Red flag of a narcissist.”
“You’re just living in the clouds with the fairies. Don’t be possessed.”
“Your mouth says one thing but your energy says another. You just want money.”
Not exactly sunshine and rainbows.
It doesn’t feel good when strangers call me selfish or accuse me of scamming people. Even though (of course) I know it isn’t true.
And yet…
Feel good now is still the message.
So what did I do?
I deleted the first comment.
It felt good to clear the space, like a garbage man joyfully hauling out the trash.
I replied to the second:
“Good point — I should probably warn people I’ve been possessed by the cloud fairies.”
It felt good to laugh, like a Jedi deflecting laser bolts.
And to the last one, I said:
“You’re free to believe what you want. And if I want to see whether this helps people, I’ll just read the hundreds of comments from those who’ve applied it and improved their lives.”
It felt good to hold my ground, like a lighthouse that refuses to dim.
Feel good now.
Sometimes that means delete.
Sometimes that means joke.
Sometimes that means stand firm.
Whatever the world shows you, find your way back to what feels good. Keep shining.
Feel good now. Feel good now. Feel good now.
From the clouds with the fairies,
Jack
