Get to know yourself.
And learn what makes you feel good now.
Because while feel good now is simple, powerful advice you can apply to any circumstance…
We don’t all feel good for the same reasons.
Some people feel good reading a book.
Some feel good watching a show.
Some feel good eating an apple.
Some feel good eating a banana.
Some love to cook meals that light up the senses.
Some love to write books that delight the imagination and guide the heart.
And no one but you can learn all the ins and outs of what makes you feel good.
In fact, when other people “try” to make us feel good in ways that don’t… it can actually be irritating.
So ask yourself:
What do I like?
What feels good to me?
And don’t let other voices answer.
Not the voice of your parents’ expectations.
Not the voice of societal conditioning.
Not even the voice of an old version of you.
You’re not responsible for those voices.
You’re responsible for listening to your own inner alignment — your own inner insight, your own inner feeling that feels good.
As you act from that place, more and more, the other voices fade. Confidence grows. You shine like a beacon of freedom and bliss.
The world responds with blessings of its own.
And you appreciate it — but you almost don’t care. Because you’re not doing this for approval. You’re doing what feels good.
That’s the greatest gift the world could ask for or receive.
So learn what you like.
And embrace it.
Feel good now.
It’s good for you.
It’s good for the world.
It’s simple.
And no one else can do it for you.
Now I’m off to work on the end of my latest novel.
Just because it feels good,
Jack
