Feel good now.
Yesterday I saw an interview with a Buddhist monk who said, “Don’t say to me, ‘I want a happy life.'”
And I thought…
There’s no way that’s his full perspective.
So, I kept listening.
“Life is just one day,” he explained. “You are born in one day. You live in one day. You die in one day. That day, today, is your life.”
Ah… His philosophy started to click.
And it aligns perfectly with feeling good now.
“Yesterday is already dead.” the monk went on. “Too late. Tomorrow is not yet born. Too early. What you have is today. Today is not a little part of life. Today is life.”
I feel this is an important reminder.
Today isn’t a stepping stone to some future destination.
Today is the destination.
We’ve already arrived. And we should enjoy it.
Feel good now.
“I think if you have a happy day,” the monk concluded, “you will have a happy life.”
Make today a happy day.
Don’t wait for tomorrow.
Make today a successful day, whatever that means to you.
I consider a day successful if I felt good and shared that blissful energy with the world. For you, it might be something else. But focus on creating it today.
Feel good now.
Feel good today.
And if you make this a priority, day after day…
Your yesterdays will feel good.
Your tomorrows will feel good.
Your life will feel good.
Your life will be successful in any way you choose, if you make it so today.
Feel good now.
You will never regret the bliss you enjoyed, or the bliss you shared with the world.
Wishing you a magical day today,
Jack
