Feel good now.
Today we fly back to the United States after nearly nine months in France.
International travel is… a little tedious.
Carry bags here.
Stand in a line.
Carry them over there.
Stand in another line.
Sit on a plane for eleven hours.
Right now I’m leaned against a wall while the others check their bags with British Airways.
I’m wearing my bulkiest clothes — a jacket, a wrap, and my Jedi robe — which is making me a little overheated.
My shoulders ache from hauling heavy bags.
And still…
I can feel good now.
Feel good now.
Feel good now.
Feel good now.
Because it’s always available.
Because it’s always us.
Whatever is happening externally, we choose the frequency.
Today will be a long travel day.
There will be waiting, shuffling, sitting.
But I will relax.
I’ll read a book.
Maybe work on some Troubleshooter edits.
Listen to music.
Nap.
Let myself be carried by the journey.
And I’ll remember — in every airport, every moment, every
state of in-between —
to feel good now.
