On September 20, Ileana Muhlach left this 2-star Amazon review for my book Lucian Lightbringer & the Chalice of Life (please forgive the typos):
“It reads like fan fiction writen [written] by a high-schooler. The author does have potential, but needs some work. The use of the dame [same] description for different places and situations gets very repetitive. Also, the way the author uses very simple words and then switches to complex ones makes it confusing and difficult to read.”

Or do I focus on praise from someone who read the exact same words and called it well-written and entertaining?

Every one of us carries a distinct energetic flavor.
Some people resonate with it.
Others don’t.
Some people love spicy food.
Other people can’t stand it.
Feel good now.
Do what feels good now and share that with the world.
Some people will hate it and leave a 2-star review.
Others will love it and leave a 5-star review.
You get to choose which one you focus on.
My advice?
Focus on whatever feels good now.
